- Both teams in this weekend's matchup are looking for their eighth win of the season. A win for the Buckeyes would give them their second consecutive season with eight wins in the first nine games. Â
- Ohio State's defense ranks among the best in the country, boasting a nation-best goals-against average of 6.50. The Buckeyes have not allowed double digit goals in a game this season and have held three opponents to five or less goals.
- Caleb Fyock is second in the country, and first in the conference, with a 6.52 goals-against average. He has a Big Ten-best save percentage of .590 and is averaging 8.63 saves per game.
