Ohio State Wraps Up Regular Season at Penn State Sunday

The Buckeyes and Nittany Lions conclude the regular season with a dual meet on Sunday at 3 p.m. on BTN.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 5 Ohio State men's gymnastics team (8-4, 2-1 B1G) travels to No. 6 Penn State (9-3-1, 1-2 B1G) for the final meet of the regular season on Sunday. The meet is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on BTN.
- On Monday, Ohio State dropped its first conference meet of the season. The Buckeyes scored a season-high 326.550, eclipsing their previous season-high by nearly six points.
- Ohio State posted season-high scores on floor (54.350) and parallel bars (54.200).
- Senior Parker Thackston captured his third pommel horse title of the season with his third score of 15.300 or better. He beat the second-place score by 0.900 and every score in the meet by at least 0.700. Thackston is the only gymnast in the country to score a 15.000 or higher on any event.
- Sophomore David Ramirez earned his third win of the season on parallel bars with a career-high score of 14.050. He also tallied a career-high 80.950 to take the all-around competition and a career-high 14.400 on vault to finish as the runner-up.
- Also on the podium on Monday were Chase Davenport-Mills (second on floor, 14.050), Drake Andrews (second on parallel bars, 13.850) and Jacob Harmon (third on high bar, 13.750, stick).
- The Big Ten announced its Academic All-Big Ten list on Wednesday. Twelve Buckeyes earned a spot on the list –Andrews, Justin Ciccone, Noah Copeland, Chase Davenport-Mills, Kristian Grahovski, Harmon, Jace Hashimoto, Ramirez, Conlan Simpkins, Zach Snyder, Caden Spencer and Thackston.

- Pommel Horse: Thackston (second, 14.433), Grahovski (15th, 13.600)
