Buckeyes Host Wolverines in Home Finale Monday

Ohio State hosts No. 4 Michigan on Monday at 6 p.m. in the Covelli Center in the Buckeyes’ final home meet of the season.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 5 Ohio State men's gymnastics team (8-3, 2-0 B1G) hosts No. 4 Michigan (9-1, 2-0 B1G) on Monday inside the Covelli Center in the Buckeyes' home finale. The meet is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on BTN.

- Last weekend, Ohio State improved to 2-0 in conference meets with its first win in Champaign since 2017. The Buckeyes earned a 316.200-313.900 win against the No. 7 ranked Fighting Illini.
- Ohio State had the higher team score in four of the six events and tied with Illinois on a fifth. Individually, the Buckeyes captured three event titles and earned seven additional podium finishes.
- Senior Jesse Pakele won both the rings and parallel bars titles for the second consecutive meet. He earned a career-high 14.100 on rings and scored 13.250 on parallel bars. Pakele also finished as the runner-up on floor (13.650).
- Sophomore David Ramirez earned the other Buckeye event title with a 14.100 on vault. He was also tied for second on parallel bars (13.050).
- Noah Copeland tied with Jacob Harmon for second on high bar (13.650). The score was Copeland's career-high. Copeland was also third on floor (13.350).
- The Buckeyes had two on the podium for pommel horse – Kristian Grahovski in second (13.500) and Parker Thackston in third (13.150).
