The Buckeyes beat a ranked Huskies team on the road by a 70-60 margin on Thursday night.
SEATTLE, Wash. – The No. 9/9 Ohio State women's basketball team (21-3, 10-2 B1G) defeated No. 24/25 Washington (17-6, 7-5 B1G) on Thursday night in the Alaska Airlines Arena for head coach Kevin McGuff's 500th career win.

Ohio State used an 11-0 run midway through the first quarter to build a 22-14 lead after 10 minutes of play, despite a Washington buzzer beater. Washington closed the gap in the second quarter as the Buckeyes held the 31-27 advantage at halftime. The Buckeyes outscored the Huskies 23-16 in the third quarter to increase the lead to 54-43 after three quarters of play. Ohio State held off a late Washington push to earn the 70-60 victory.

Jaloni Cambridge was the first in the game to reach double figures, doing so on the first possession of the second quarter and finishing with 26 points. Chance Gray (12) and Elsa Lemmilä (13) joined J. Cambridge in double figures. Lemmilä led the game with nine rebounds.
