
Ohio State Sprinters Competing at New Mexico Collegiate Classic

The Buckeyes are sending 10 athletes to race this weekend.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track and field team travels to Albuquerque, N.M. this weekend for the New Mexico Collegiate Classic. The Buckeyes are scheduled to have 10 athletes participating in the men's and women's 60m and 200m dashes in addition to the 4x400m relays. Braxton Brann will be the lone Buckeye competing in the men's 60m hurdles.
Friday's action begins at 5:30 p.m. with the men's unseeded 200m, while Saturday's schedule commences with the men's 60m prelims at noon.

- Ohio State has six times ranked in the TFRRS top 25 this week. Of the athletes scheduled to compete this weekend, Kyler Brown is ranked 16th in the men's 60m with a program record time of 6.60 and 23rd in the men's 200m with a time of 20.92. Brann is ranked 16th in the men's 60m hurdles after recording a 7.68 at the Stan Scott Invite.
- Noah Carmichael, Mason Louis, Edidiong Udo and Damon Frabotta are ranked seventh in the men's 4x400m after finishing in 3:04.65. Aniya Mosley, Noa Smith, Sydney Stevenson and Katie Castelli finished the women's distance medley relay in 1:18.95 and are ranked 13th.
- Last weekend at the Meyo Invitational, Mosley recorded her second program record of the season after crossing the line in the women's 800m in 2:02.20. The time is currently ranked ninth in country.
- Michael Middleton won the men's 400m open at the Meyo Invitational with a time of 47.59.
- Victor Tornstrom placed fifth in the heptathlon at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational. His performance was highlighted by a win in the heptathlon long jump, recording a 7.32m/24'00.25" attempt.
