Ohio State Heads West to Face No. 24/25 Washington on Thursday

The Buckeyes and Huskies will meet in Seattle for the first time since 2018 on Thursday night.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 9/9 Ohio State women's basketball team (20-3, 9-2 B1G) travels to No. 24/25 Washington (17-5, 7-4 B1G) on Thursday night. Tip-off is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET in a game broadcast on Peacock and AM1460.
- The Buckeyes beat the Huskers by a 90-71 margin on Sunday as they celebrated National Girls & Women in Sports Day early. Ohio State outscored Nebraska in each quarter.
- All five Buckeye starters scored in double figures - Jaloni Cambridge (30), Chance Gray (21), Kennedy Cambridge (12), Ava Watson (10) and Elsa Lemmilä (10). Gray scored her 1,500th career point.
- On Monday, J. Cambridge was named to the Big Ten Weekly Honor Roll for the fifth time this season and third consecutive week.
- No. 24/25 Washington enters the game with a 17-5 overall record and a 7-4 mark in conference play.
- Against Big Ten opponents, the Huskies have beaten Northwestern, then No. 6 Michigan, Indiana, Minnesota, Penn State, Rutgers and No. 16 Maryland and fallen to then No. 16 USC, No. 15 Michigan State, Purdue and Illinois.
- Sayvia Sellers leads the Washington offense and ranks sixth in the Big Ten with 19.1 points per game. Avery Howell is tied for fourth in the league with 8.1 rebounds per game. Brynn McGaughy is sixth with 1.3 blocks per game.
- Ohio State leads 3-1 in the all-time series against Washington. Each team has won once when facing each other in Seattle.
- Last season, Ohio State earned a 66-56 victory in Columbus on Feb. 2.
