Ohio State Sends Five Gymnasts to Winter Cup

Four Buckeyes will compete in the all-around and one will compete as an event specialist in Saturday’s competition in Louisville.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 5 Ohio State men's gymnastics team (5-3, 1-0 B1G) is sending five gymnasts to compete at the 2026 Winter Cup on Saturday in Louisville, Ky. The senior men's competition will take place at 7 p.m. ET and broadcast live on the USA Gym YouTube page. One of the Buckeyes' signees, Anthony Ruscheinsky, will also be competing.
- Drake Andrews, Kristian Grahovski, Jesse Pakele and David Ramirez will be competing in the all-around competition. Parker Thackston will be competing on pommel horse.
- Ohio State ranks fifth in the nation in the Road to Nationals rankings after finishing second in its most recent meet at Oklahoma and against Air Force. The Buckeyes scored 317.700 as a team, their second-highest team score of the season.
- In the tri-meet, Ramirez earned his second consecutive win on parallel bars with a score of 13.850.
- Also finishing on the podium in the tri-meet against Oklahoma and Air Force were Pakele on rings (13.600, third), Chase Davenport-Mills on vault (14.300, third) and Grahovski on high bar (13.500, third).
- As a team, the Buckeyes scored 56.650 on vault. That score is tied for the highest vault score by any team in the country this season. Following the tri-meet, Ohio State had the highest team vault average (55.613) in the nation this season.
