COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 8/8 Ohio State women's basketball team (22-4, 11-3 B1G) fell to No. 20/17 Maryland (21-6, 9-6 B1G) in the Pink Game on Sunday by a 76-75 margin.

Ohio State jumped out to a 28-15 lead after 10 minutes and a buzzer-beater from Jaloni Cambridge to end the quarter. The Buckeyes led 51-43 at halftime after a back-and-forth second quarter. Maryland used a strong third quarter to cut its deficit to 60-57 at the end of the third quarter. The Terrapins scored the first 12 points of the fourth quarter and the Buckeyes battled back but were unable to score on the final possession.

- Q1: Maryland opened scoring, but Ohio State responded with the next seven points in the game. Back-to-back three-pointers from Chance Gray and Ava Watson pushed the Buckeyes' lead to 13-3, forcing a Maryland timeout with 6:12 to play in the quarter. The Buckeye defense held the Terrapins without a basket for five minutes. Maryland responded with a 10-0 run to cut the deficit to 20-15. J. Cambridge made a buzzer-beating three-pointer to give Ohio State a 28-15 lead at the end of the quarter.
