Ohio State Travels to No. 23 Minnesota for Mid-Week Game

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 10/8 Ohio State women's basketball team (22-4, 11-3 B1G) travels to No. 23/RV Minnesota (20-6, 11-4 B1G) for a Wednesday night game. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET in a game broadcast on B1G+ and 97.1FM.

Ohio State fell to then No. 20/17 Maryland on Sunday by a 76-75 margin. In a tale of two halves, the Buckeyes started strong and the Terps responded.
For the first time this season, two Buckeyes scored 25 or more points apiece as Jaloni Cambridge (29) and Chance Gray (season-high 25) led the game's scoring.
No. 23/RV Minnesota enters the matchup with a 20-6 overall record and an 11-4 mark in Big Ten play. The Gophers are on an eight-game win streak and are 12-2 when playing at home this season.
In conference play, Minnesota holds wins against Indiana, Northwestern, then No. 21 USC, Oregon, Wisconsin (twice), Penn State, Purdue, then No. 10 Iowa, Rutgers and Nebraska and has lost to then No. 7 Maryland, No. 9 Michigan, No. 3 UCLA and Washington.
All five of Minnesota's regular starters average double figures - Tori McKinney (13.2), Grace Grocholski (12.9), Mara Braun (11.8), Amaya Battle (10.6) and Sophie Hart (10.4).
Ohio State leads 65-16 in the all-time series against Minnesota and has the 25-11 advantage when facing the Gophers in Minneapolis.
Ohio State earned an 87-84 overtime win against Minnesota in last season's meeting on Feb. 13, 2025.
The Buckeyes won by a 71-47 margin in the most recent meeting between the teams in Minneapolis on Feb. 8, 2024.
