Buckeyes Conclude Day One of Therese Hession Regional Challenge

COLUMBUS, Ohio –The Ohio State women's golf team finished the opening day of the Therese Hession Regional Challenge in thirteenth place after the first round.
Marina Joyce-Moreno led the Buckeyes, shooting even par. She recorded two birdies—one on the front nine and one on the back. Kary Hollenbaugh followed closely with a round-one score of 72 (+1). Nellie Ong finished with a 77 (+6), carding a birdie on the final hole. Matilde Santilli shot an 81 (+10), and Mandy Song rounded out the team scoring with an 83 (+12).
Sophie Eppelstun and Chloe Lam competed as individuals in the tournament, finishing with scores of 74 (+3) and 83 (+12), respectively.
The Buckeyes begin round two on Monday, teeing off at 12:00 p.m. EST.
