COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 10 Ohio State men's swimming and diving team and No. 12 women's swimming and diving team completed competition against Texas and Louisville at the Eddie Reese Texas Showdown on Saturday.
Due to necessary travel changes because of the incoming winter storm, the Buckeyes will not be competing at the final session of the Eddie Reese Texas Showdown on Saturday morning.

Men's Meet Notes
- The 200 free relay team of Matt Klinge, Jack Schuster, Ethan Reniewicki and Rasmus Hanson placed fourth with a time of 1:17.80.
- In the 50 breast, Ahmed Ismail (24.71) and Luke Vickers (24.75) placed fifth and sixth, respectively.
- Klinge was the winner of the 50 fly, touching at 20.38.
- Tristan Jankovics finished third in the 400 IM with an NCAA standard time of 3:44.39.
- Cornelius Jahn and Joseph Roth finished fifth and sixth, respectively, in the 50 back. Jahn finished in 21.73 and Roth finished in 21.92.
- In the 400 medley relay, the team of Roth, Jankovics, Evan Fentress and Hanson placed fifth with a time of 3:11.25.
- Hamish Patel placed fourth on the 3-meter with an NCAA Zones qualifying score of 359.45. Ernest Braitenbach (329.15) and Matthew Yuan (326.15) also had NCAA Zones qualifying scores.
- The relay team of Jahn, Ismail, Klinge and Hanson placed fourth with a time of 1:24.95 in the 200 medley relay.
- Jordi Vilchez placed third in the 500 free with an NCAA standard time of 4:17.23.
- Jahn was the fourth-place finisher in the 100 back, touching at 46.35.
- In the 100 breast, Ismail placed fifth with a time of 53.87 and Jankovics placed sixth with a time of 54.53.
- Tomas Navikonis placed third in the 200 free with a time of 1:35.8. Jahn finished fifth with a time of 1:35.83.
- Klinge picked up his second win of the day, taking first place in the 100 fly with an NCAA standard time of 45.12.
- Navikonis (43.59) and Hanson (44.82) placed fourth and fifth, respectively, in the 100 free.
- Jankovics placed fifth in the 200 IM with a time of 1:45.80 and Vilchez placed sixth with a time of 1:47.92.
- The Buckeyes placed fourth in the 400 free relay to close out the night with the team of Jahn, Klinge, Ismail and Navikonis finishing in 2:53.77.
Women's Meet Notes
- The 200 free relay team of Rachel Bockrath, Erin Little, Carrie Furbee and Taya Hutchison placed third with a time of 1:28.92.
- Maria Ramos finished second in the 50 breast with a time of 26.83. Danika Varda placed fourth, touching at 28.74.
- Paige Delma took second place in the 400 IM with an NCAA standard time of 4:10.12. Sienna Angove placed fifth with a time of 4:12.49, which is also an NCAA standard.
- Furbee finished fifth in the 50 fly with a time of 24.10. Lorin Tobler placed sixth with a time of 24.30.
- Sienna Rodgers finished fifth in the 50 back, touching the wall at 24.90. Delia Lloyd placed sixth with a time of 25.31. KK LeBlanc won the B final with a time of 24.74.
- The 400 medley relay team of LeBlanc, Ramos, Furbee and Bockrath placed third with a time of 3:31.34, which is an NCAA provisional time.
- Michelle Mazzara (283.95) and Lena Hentschel (274.35) placed third and fourth, respectively, on the 1-meter. Both scores are NCAA Zones qualifying scores. Mia Prusiecki placed sixth with an NCAA Zones qualifying score of 271.85.
- On the 3-meter board, the Buckeyes placed 2-3-4. Hentschel (303.20) placed third, Mazzara (301.40) placed third and Prusiecki (301.05) placed fifth. All three sores are NCAA Zones qualifiers.
- In the 200 medley relay, the team of LeBlanc, Ramos, Furbee and Hutchison finished fourth with a time of 1:37.90.
- Bockrath set a program record in the 200 free en route to a victory with an NCAA standard time of 1:42.92. She breaks the previous record of 1:42.94 set by Amy Fulmer in 2023.
- Little placed fourth in the 200 free with an NCAA standard time of 1:44.00.
- LeBlanc touched at 53.08 in the 100 back to place fifth. Lloyd placed sixth with a time of 53.17.
- Ramos earned a second-place finish in the 100 breast with an NCAA standard time of 58.90.
- Mila Nikanorov placed second in the 500 free, turning in an NCAA standard time of 4:37.93. Emma Finlin also turned in an NCAA standard time, placing fifth after finishing in 4:43.38.
- Furbee (53.23) and Tobler (53.53) finished fifth and sixth, respectively, in the 100 fly.
- Bockrath finished third in the 100 free with an NCAA standard time of 47.27. Little finished fifth with a time of 48.37, which is also an NCAA standard.
- Delma placed fourth in the 200 IM with a time of 1:58.96.
- The Buckeyes placed third in the 400 free relay with the team of Little, Bockrath, Furbee and Angove finishing in 3:15.50.
