
Ohio State Travels to No. 10 Iowa for Sunday Matinee

The Buckeyes face their fifth top 10 opponent of the season in Iowa City on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 12/11 Ohio State women's basketball team (18-2, 7-1 B1G) travels to No. 10/10 Iowa (17-2, 8-0 B1G) on Sunday. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET in a game broadcast on Peacock and AM1460.

- Ohio State completed a comeback to beat Indiana by an 81-67 margin after trailing by as many as 12 points during the second half.
- The Buckeyes had six in double figures - Jaloni Cambridge (22), Chance Gray (13), Kennedy Cambridge (13), Ava Watson (12) and Elsa Lemmilä (10). Watson and K. Cambridge each recorded six steals as Watson made her first collegiate start. J. Cambridge also made her 200th career assist.
- No. 10/10 Iowa enters the weekend with a 17-2 overall record and is one of two teams unbeaten in conference play (8-0). The Hawkeyes are also a perfect 10-0 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena this season.
- Conference opponents that the Hawkeyes have already faced this season include Rutgers, Penn State, then No. 20 Nebraska, Northwestern, Indiana, Oregon, then No. 15 Michigan State and No. 15 Maryland.
- Ava Heiden leads the Iowa offense and ranks 11th in the Big Ten with 16.3 points per game. Heiden also ranks fourth in the conference with a .626 field goal percentage.
- Hannah Stuelke (8.6) and Heiden (7.7) each rank in the top 10 in the Big Ten in rebounds per game, sitting second and ninth, respectively.
- Ohio State leads 41-37 in the all-time series against Iowa. The Hawkeyes have the 23-11 advantage in the series when playing in Iowa City.
- Last season, the teams met twice. The Buckeyes earned an 86-78 overtime win in Columbus on Feb. 17, 2025 and then won by a 60-59 margin in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament.
