COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten Conference announced its weekly men's gymnastics awards on Wednesday. Junior Drake Andrews was named Big Ten Gymnast of the Week following his impressive all-around performance at the OSU Open on Sunday, his first Big Ten weekly honor.   Â
Andrews won the all-around competition at the OSU Open on Sunday to earn an automatic bid to the Winter Cup next month. Andrews totaled a career-high score of 79.400 in the all-around competition to win by 1.600 points over the runner-up. Andrews also tallied career-highs on floor (13.500), tying for third, and pommel horse (13.150). He also finished third on parallel bars (13.650).
