COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State goalkeeper Molly Pritchard has signed a professional contract with the North Carolina Courage of the NWSL, the club announced on Wednesday.
Pritchard appeared in 82 matches in her Buckeye career, making 70 starts. She finished with a career record of 39-24-14 and helped lead the Buckeyes to four NCAA Tournament appearances, including a spot in the Sweet 16 in 2024 and the Elite 8 in 2025.
The Atlanta, Ga., native finished her career as the program’s leader in career shutouts with 32. She was also second with 306 career saves and had an impressive 1.07 career goals-against average.
The 2025 season was the best of her career as she earned All-America honors and was named the Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Year. She made 78 saves and had a career-best 0.63 goals-against average. She orchestrated the defense that set a program record with seven consecutive shutouts and 739:26 consecutive shutout minutes.
As solid as she was on the pitch, she was just as impressive off the pitch. The sports industry native earned both United Soccer Coaches and CSC Academic All-America honors in 2025 and she was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree. She completed her degree in December of 2025.
