COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 6 Ohio State scored two early first-half goals and added a second-half strike to secure a 3-0 victory over Indiana Sunday afternoon on the road at the Jerry Yeagley Field in Bloomington, Indiana.

The Buckeyes controlled the tempo from the opening whistle, securing their fourth shutout of the season behind a balanced attack and a resolute defensive effort.

Senior Amanda Schlueter led the way with a pair of goals, finding the back of the net in both halves to bring her team-leading total on the year to five. Fellow senior Elle Britt provided the second goal of the match, while Ava Greco notched an assist in the win.

Ohio State wasted no time establishing control, taking a 1-0 lead in the eighth minute when Schlueter struck a right-footed shot into the top left corner.

Just under two minutes later, the Buckeyes struck again. Greco set up Elle Britt, who tucked a left-footed finish into the bottom right corner to quickly double the Ohio State advantage to 2-0.

The Buckeyes carried the two-goal cushion into halftime after stifling the Hoosiers' attack and limiting Indiana to just two total shot attempts in the opening 45 minutes.

Ohio State put the game out of reach in the 60th minute when Schlueter buried her second goal of the match—a sharp left-footed strike to the bottom right corner to extend the lead to 3-0.

Defensively, Ohio State held Indiana to just three total shots on the day. Starting goalkeeper Peighton Northrup posted one save across 76 scoreless minutes before Lizzie Rozmajzl entered in relief to complete the clean sheet.
