The Buckeyes beat the Terrapins by an 89-76 margin after trailing 24-12 at the end of the first quarter.
COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The No. 19/19 Ohio State women's basketball team (15-2, 5-1 B1G) beat No. 8/8 Maryland (16-2, 4-2 B1G) on Sunday by an 89-76 margin for the Buckeyes' first win against a top 10 opponent this season.Â

Maryland got off to a quick start and led by a 24-12 margin after the first quarter of play. Ohio State outscored Maryland by a 28-18 margin in the second quarter to trim its deficit to 42-40 at halftime. The Buckeyes took their first lead of the game in the third quarter and, after a couple of lead changes, held a 61-59 advantage after 30 minutes of play. The Buckeyes used runs of 10-0 and 8-0 in the final quarter to cap scoring at 89-76.

Jaloni Cambridge was the first Buckeye to reach double figures, scoring 12 points in the first half and 28 in the game. Kylee Kitts (tied career-high 18), Kennedy Cambridge (14) and Chance Gray (11) joined J. Cambridge in double figures. J. Cambridge also totaled a career-high nine rebounds and tied her career-high eight assists.
