
Buckeyes Wrap Up Road Swing, Open B1G Play This Weekend

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State field hockey team (3-4) concludes its five-game road swing this weekend, opening Big Ten play at No. 19 Rutgers (4-4) on Friday and taking on Delaware (3-5) on Sunday.

- The Buckeyes fell to Louisville, 3-2, last Friday. Makenna Webster and Sienna Golden were the goal-scorers for Ohio State and Autum Kernechel had an assist.

- Katie Fichtner has scored two goals, and Zella Bailey, MaKayla Carahaly, Raleigh Kerst, Emily Barker, Golden, Loryn Jordon, Anne Marie Kebs and Carmela Maro each have one.
- Lindsey Roberts and Philippa Schipper are tied for second on the team in assists with two each.
- Maddie Stevens (3-4) has played all 441 minutes in goal. She has 22 saves, which is the fifth-most in the Big Ten.
- The Buckeyes are outscoring their opponents, 22-11, and average 3.14 goals per game. They have outshot their opponents, 122-61.
