Ohio State to Host 2026 Big Ten Field Hockey Tournament

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Big Ten Conference announced Thursday Ohio State as the host of the 2026 Big Ten Field Hockey Tournament.

The tournament will take place November 4-8 at Buckeye Varsity Field. The teams ranked in the top seven at the conclusion of the regular season will qualify for the single-elimination tournament. The champion will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Field Hockey Championship.

The Ohio State field hockey team begins its 2026 season this weekend at home with games against Old Dominion (Aug. 28) and Bellarmine (Aug. 30). Fans have the chance to catch the Buckeyes in action at Buckeye Varsity Field 10 times during the regular season. Admission for regular season home games is free.
