The Buckeye senior class of Shelly Bereznyak, Sydni Ratliff and Dani Schoenly was recognized pregame and all three contributed a win vs. the Gophers.
The teams started off deadlocked in doubles when Minnesota took court two and Ohio State secured a win on court three from the tandem of Bereznyak and Schoenly. The Gophers won the last two games on court one to secure the match and team point.
The Buckeyes came back in singles with four straight-set wins from Perry, Ratliff, Nao Nishino and Bereznyak to seal a 4-1 victory.

- Nao Nishino won on court three with a 6-1, 6-2 victory to bring the Buckeyes to a 2-1 lead.
- On court two, senior Sydni Ratliff finished her match soon after in a 6-1, 6-2 win that brought the Buckeyes to a 3-1 advantage.
- The match rounded out with a 6-3, 6-3 victory from Bereznyak on court four, concluding the match with a 4-1 win.
- When play was suspended, Audrey Spencer was one point away from winning her match on court five. Alessia Cau won her first set and was up 2-1 in her second set.
The Schedule Ahead
- The Buckeyes will travel to Ojai, Calif., to compete in the Big Ten Tournament Wednesday to Sunday at Libbey Park.
- Seeds 5-12 will play in the first round on day one, with the top four seeds receiving a bye into the quarterfinals. Ohio State will be the tournament's No. 2 seed, with its first match in the quarterfinals at 3 p.m. ET Thursday.
