COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's lacrosse lost to No. 5 Johns Hopkins, 16-6, in a Big Ten matchup Thursday evening in Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium. The Blue Jays led 5-2 after the first quarter and 7-3 at the half. Ohio State made it a three-goal game (8-5) entering the fourth quarter but Hopkins opened the quarter on a six-goal run to take control.

Ohio State is now 8-5 on the year (1-5 B1G) and the Blue Jays are 10-3 (4-1 B1G).

- Hopkins tallied twice in the final 3:40 for the 16-6 final.
- The Buckeyes were outshot, 39-19, in the game. Buckeye goalie Jocelyn Torres made 11 saves and the Blue Jays' goalie made 10 stops.
- Ohio State had the advantage in draw controls, 14-10. Abby Boyle recorded six and Emily Magalotti and Hargraves each had three.
- Torres was first for the Buckeyes with four ground balls and Amani Kimball-McKavish had two.
