Six Buckeyes Earn Seven Regular Season All-American Honors

The College Gymnastics Association named its regular season All-Americans on Tuesday.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The College Gymnastics Association named its regular season All-Americans on Tuesday. The top eight performers on each event were selected by their four-score average according to Road to Nationals. Ohio State had six gymnasts earn seven All-American honors.
- Kameron Nelson led the nation on both floor (14.267) and vault (14.483) this season, according to his four-score averages on each event. This season, Nelson owns five wins on floor and six wins on vault. He earned a season-best 14.600 and the win on floor at the Stanford Open and most recently picked up a win with a 14.500 against Illinois, sticking his final pass. Nelson earned a season-best 14.550 on vault on three occasions this season, most recently at Michigan for his sixth vault win of the season. This is Nelson's second season in a row earning CGA regular season All-American honors on floor.
- Jesse Pakele finished the regular season with the sixth-highest four-score average (13.933) in the country on floor. He had a season-best 14.200 against Nebraska to earn his first collegiate floor title and most recently finished third against Illinois with a score of 14.050, sticking his final pass. This is Pakele's first All-American honors of his career.
- Parker Thackston's four-score average (14.550) on pommel horse ranks third in the country this season. He's racked up six pommel horse wins this season, including a season-best 15.050 at Michigan in his most recent win. This is Thackston's second season in a row earning CGA regular season All-American honors on pommel horse.
- David Ramirez wrapped up the top eight on vault with a four-score average of 14.167. He finished as the vault runner-up against Greenville (14.300) and Penn State (14.250) with the 14.300 being his career-high.
- Drake Andrews holds a four-score average of 13.867 to rank seventh on parallel bars. Andrews holds three parallel bar wins this season – West Point Open (14.050), Oklahoma (career-high 14.100) and Illinois (13.350). This is Andrews' first All-American honors of his career.
- Kristian Grahovski also ranks seventh in the country with a four-score average of 13.700 on high bar. He earned the first high bar win of his career with a career-best score of 14.000 at Nebraska and was on the podium three additional times, most recently third at Michigan (13.550). This is Grahovski's first All-American honors of his career.
