COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 23 Ohio State women's gymnastics team makes its final trip of the 2025 regular season this weekend to No. 20 NC State Friday. The meet between the Buckeyes (3-9, 2-7 B1G) and Wolfpack (5-7, 4-2 ACC) starts at 7 p.m. from the James T. Valvano Arena at William Neal Reynolds Coliseum in Raleigh, N.C.

Buckeyes in a Nutshell
- Ohio State is coming off a season-best performance at the Big Four meet last weekend. In the meet, the team scored a 49.000 or higher on all four apparatuses for the first time this season, including season-highs of 49.100 on uneven bars and 49.125 on balance beam. The team finished with a season-best overall score of 196.650.
- Ohio State is ranked in the top 20 on vault and floor entering this weekend's meet. The Buckeyes have a national qualifying score (NQS) of 49.185 on vault to rank 14th nationally. With an NQS of 49.295 on floor, Ohio State is 17th in the country.
- Sidney Washington was announced as a nominee for the 2025 AAI Award. The award is the most prestigious in women's gymnastics, recognizing the top senior female gymnast in the nation for their dedication, leadership and excellence in the sport. A testament to her dependability and consistency, Washington has been the lead off for the Buckeyes in all three events that she competes - vault, uneven bars and floor. A senior leader for the team on both the competition floor and the classroom, Washington has hit season-high marks of 9.850 on vault and floor and 9.825 on uneven bars.
- Tory Vetter leads the Buckeyes with a 9.850 average on vault, 9.841 average on uneven bars and 9.894 average on floor.
- Vetter is tied with JJ Coleman for the highest score on the vault this season with a 9.900 twice on the year. The redshirt junior also leads the team with career-highs on uneven bars (9.925), floor (9.950) and in the all-around (39.575).
- The Buckeyes' highest scoring event is floor, averaging a 49.269. In addition to Vetter's career-high mark in the event, Guevara has scored a 9.900 or higher in six meets this season for the Buckeyes.
- Vetter leads the team with 11 event titles on the year. She has won the all-around in five of Ohio State's eight meets on the year. Her season best is a 39.575, which she hit in the dual meets vs. Iowa and Michigan State. The Hilliard, Ohio native's career high of 39.625 is tied for the program record.
- Ohio State is led by eighth-year head coach Meredith Paulicivic. Paulicivic has earned an 81-55 record in her time at Ohio State. She is assisted by Randy Monahan, Mickayla Stuckey and Quest Hayden.
