Ohio State moves to 9-2 on the year
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 10 Ohio State women's tennis team recorded its third 4-0 win in Big Ten Conference play this season, as it downed Michigan State Sunday in East Lansing, Mich. The Buckeyes improve to 9-2 on the year, with a 3-1 B1G ledger, and the Spartans are now 10-5 and 2-2 in the league.

Against Michigan State, Ohio State won on courts three and one for the doubles point and opened singles by taking all six first sets. Alessia Cau, Luciana Perry and Shelly Bereznyak captured singles wins to clinch the team victory.

- The Buckeyes took the doubles point with wins on courts three and one.
- The tandem of Sophia Cisse-Ignatiev and Nao Nishino shut out the Spartans on court three. On court one, Teah Chavez and Luciana Perry rallied for a 6-4 win. Sydni Ratliff and Dani Schoenly were leading 5-3 when the doubles point was clinched.
- Singles opened with the Buckeyes claiming all six first sets.
- Alessia Cau put the Buckeyes up 2-0 as she downed Natalie Stasny, 6-2, 6-2, on court six and Luciana Perry won by the same score on court one against Liisa Vehvilainen.
- Shelly Bereznyak notched a 6-1, 6-3 win on court four vs. Issey Purser to clinch the win.
- Chavez, Nishino and Ratliff were all leading on their courts when Ohio State secured the win.
