COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 21/21 Ohio State women's basketball team (9-1, 1-0 B1G) beat Toledo (3-5) in Sunday's Nike x Lego game by an 85-60 margin.
The first quarter featured 11 lead changes as Toledo hit a three-pointer to end the quarter with a 20-17 lead. Ohio State used an 11-0 run early in the second quarter to gain an advantage and led by a 37-33 mark going into the locker room. The Buckeyes used a 22-14 third quarter to extend their lead to 59-47 after three quarters of play. Ohio State wrapped up the game with a 26-13 fourth quarter to win by an 85-60 margin.
Kennedy Cambridge was the first Buckeye to double figures, doing so in the quarter and finishing with a career-high 23 points – the first 20-point game of her career. Chance Gray (15), Jaloni Cambridge (12) and T'yana Todd (10) joined K. Cambridge in double figures. Kylee Kitts totaled a game-high 13 rebounds, her third game of the season with 10 or more rebounds. The Buckeye defense recorded 10 or more steals for the fifth consecutive game as nine different Buckeyes tallied a steal.

- Q1: Kennedy Cambridge scored the Buckeyes' first four points and the teams traded baskets and the lead to begin the quarter. The quarter featured 11 lead changes as neither team led by more than three during the frame. Six different Buckeyes scored but the Rockets made a triple to end the quarter with a 20-17 lead.
- Q2: Toledo opened second-quarter scoring, but Ohio State responded with an 11-0 run to take a 28-22 lead with 5:26 remaining in the half. The Rockets scored the next five points to get within one at 28-27 and tied the game at 31 and 33. Ella Hobbs and Kylee Kitts each scored in the final 20 seconds to give Ohio State a 37-33 advantage at halftime.
- Q3: The Rockets scored first after the break to get within one at 37-36. The Buckeyes used four unanswered points to push their lead to five and led by a 47-42 margin just past the midway point of the quarter. Ohio State used an 8-0 run to extend its lead to 55-43 with 2:14 to play in the third. The Buckeyes led by a 59-47 margin after 30 minutes.
- Q4: Ohio State scored eight unanswered points in 1:07 of game time to increase its lead to 70-51 with 7:41 remaining. The Buckeyes strung together another 8-0 run to lead 78-53 just past the midway point of the quarter. Ava Watson capped the game's scoring with a three-pointer.
- Ohio State hosts Norfolk State on Thursday for a 6:30 p.m. tip off. The game will be broadcast live on B1G+ and AM1460. Fans will celebrate 614 Night with hats given away to the first 500 fans.
