Buckeyes Host Iowa Friday for Senior Day

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State field hockey team (7-8, 3-4 Big Ten) closes out the regular season on Friday, hosting No. 10 Iowa (11-4, 4-3 Big Ten) for Senior Day.

- The matchup between the Buckeyes and the Hawkeyes will begin at 1:00 p.m.
- Friday will also feature a hat giveaway for the first 150 students in attendance.

- Following the conclusion of the game, Ohio State will honor its graduating student-athletes; Zella Bailey, MaKayla Carahaly, Katie Fichtner, Riley Hudson, Loryn Jordon, Lindsey Roberts, Olivia Wallace and Makenna Webster.

- The Buckeyes fell to No. 2 Indiana, 2-1, in overtime on Friday, Oct. 24 and to No. 2 Northwestern, 7-0, on Sunday, Oct. 26.
- Webster leads the Buckeyes with a career-high 18 goals. She also has a team-high five assists and 41 points. She is second in the Big Ten in goals and third in points. Her 1.20 goals per game rank fifth nationally.
- Freshman Raleigh Kerst is second on the team in scoring with four goals. Fichtner and Jordon have each added three goals.
- Roberts and Autum Kernechel have each recorded three assists.
- Goalkeeper Maddie Stevens (7-8) has made 52 saves and has played all 933:17 in net this season.
- The Buckeyes have outscored opponents, 36-27, and average 2.40 goals per game. Ohio State has outshot its opponents, 238-143, and leads its opponents in penalty corners, 104-74.
- Ohio State ranks second in the conference in penalty corners (104), third in shots on goal (148) and fifth in both goals (36) and total shots (238).
