Ohio State Tops Navy and Purdue in Home Meet

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State pistol team competed last weekend against Navy and Purdue while also welcoming one of the best pistol shooters in the country, Suman Sanghera from Case Western Reserve University.
The Buckeyes scored two season-high scores – 6705 for the aggregate and 2293 in sport pistol. Ohio State won the match as Navy was second and Purdue was third.
Junior Ada Korkhin won the individual aggregate with s score of 1701. It marked the first score over 1700 for the team this season. In second place was Johnathan Dorsten, a senior, with 1669, and third was sophomore Marcus Klemp (1663).
Klemp was the air pistol (572) while Korkhin was the top finisher in both the sport and standard pistol with scores of 582 and 556, respectively.
