
Ohio State Wins Buckeye Invitational and Final Tune-up Before Nationals

COLUMBUS, Ohio - In its final tune-up before the national championships, the Ohio State pistol team took first place at the Buckeye Invitational. Ohio State had a total score of 6766 to top second-place Navy (6426), third-place Liberty (6719) and fourth-place VMI (5951).
Individually, Ohio State had the top placer two of the three events – the air pistol, sport pistol and standard pistol. Ada Korkhin, who had the top aggregate score of 1717, was first in sport pistol (584) and standard pistol (560).
Ohio State is next in action at the national championships, where it will look to win its fifth consecutive national title, March 26-28.
