Buckeyes Hit the Road for Two Top 20 Matchups

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 18 Ohio State field hockey team (7-6. 3-2 Big Ten) wraps up its regular season road schedule this weekend with two top 20 matchups against No. 20 Indiana (7-7, 2-3 Big Ten) on Friday and No. 2 Northwestern (13-1, 5-0 Big Ten) on Sunday.

- The matchup between the Buckeyes and the Hoosiers will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24.

- The Buckeyes fell to Michigan State, 4-3, last Sunday. Raleigh Kerst, Katie Fichtner and Makenna Webster were the goal-scorers for Ohio State.
- Webster leads the Buckeyes with 17 goals this season, which ties her career-high. She also leads the team with five assists and 39 points. She is second in the Big Ten in both goals and points. Her 1.31 goals per game ranks third nationally and her 3.00 points per game is tied for second nationally.
- Kerst is second on the team in scoring with four goals, while Fichtner and Loryn Jordon have each added three goals.
- Autum Kernechel and Lindsey Roberts are second on the team in assists with three each.
- Goalkeeper Maddie Stevens (7-6) has made 40 saves and has a 1.26 goals against average. Her goals against average is the fifth-best in the Big Ten.
