COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 14 Ohio State women's gymnastics team continues its Big Ten schedule with a dual meet against No. 4 Michigan State Friday, Jan. 24. Competition between the Buckeyes and Spartans starts at 6:30 p.m. from the Covelli Center.

Friday is the Our Honor Defend Military Appreciation meet.
Anyone who provides a military ID at the Covelli Center box office can claim up to two comp tickets. Tickets are also available via Vet Tix.
The first 200 fans at Friday's meet will receive an Our Honor Defend belt bag and the first 500 fans will receive a glow wand.

Buckeyes in a Nutshell

Ohio State has earned a season average score of 196.350 after two meets to rank 14th nationally. The Buckeyes are third among Big Ten teams.
Redshirt junior Tory Vetter has won the all-around in both of the team's meets this season and currently ranks seventh nationally with an average score of 39.525. She leads the conference in the all-around. The Hilliard, Ohio native is also ranked in the top 20 on floor (T11), vault (T16) and uneven bars (T16). She earned a share of this week's Big Ten Gymnast of the Week award.
Vetter leads the Buckeyes on each event entering the third meet of the year. Her 9.925s on bars and floor are career-high marks. Freshman JJ Coleman and Vetter are tied for the team lead on vault with a 9.900. Vetter, Payton Harris and Courtney McCann share the lead on beam with 9.875s.
The Buckeyes' highest scoring events entering Friday's meet are vault and floor. The team is ranked fifth nationally in both events with an average score of 49.275 on both apparatuses. With a season best score of 49.375 on floor in last week's B1G opener, the Buckeyes jumped five spots to No. 5 nationally.
Freshman Rylee Guevara has scored a 9.900 on floor in her first two collegiate meets.
The team has seven individual event titles on the year. Vetter has earned five and Coleman and Harris each have one.
Friday's meet vs. the Spartans is the first dual meet between the teams since the 2022 season. The Buckeyes came away with the 197.075-196.850 win in Columbus.
Ohio State is led by eighth-year head coach Meredith Paulicivic. Paulicivic has earned an 80-49 record in her time at Ohio State. She is assisted by Randy Monahan, Mickayla Stuckey and Quest Hayden.

Ohio State is on the road for two weeks, first with a trip to Michigan on Jan. 31 and then to Illinois on Feb. 7. The Buckeyes have three more home meets at the Covelli Center following Friday's meet. The upcoming home schedule features a dual against Minnesota (Feb. 16), the Big Four meet against Nebraska, Rutgers and UCLA (March 2) and a tri meet against Kent State and West Virginia (March 16).
