COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 2 Ohio State women's hockey team fell 6-0 to No. 1 Wisconsin Thursday night at LaBahn Arena in Madison, Wis.
The Buckeyes (13-5-2, 8-5-2 WCHA) and Badgers (20-1-0, 14-1-0 WCHA) close the regular season series Saturday in the Frozen Confines: Big Ten Hockey Series at Wrigley Field in Chicago. The teams face off at 5:30 p.m. and the game will be televised on Big Ten Network.

Short Story
Wisconsin jumped out to a three-goal lead in the first period, scoring at 1:03, 15:10 and on the power play at 18:32. Ohio State recorded seven shots on goal in the opening frame, including one from Kiara Zanon at 13:14 that Badgers' goaltender Ava McNaughton saved with her toe.
Zanon had another good opportunity on the Buckeyes' first power play of the game at 5:11 in the second period, but it went off the pipe over McNaughton. The Badgers added to their lead at 9:55 and 15:48 to take a 5-0 lead at the second intermission.
Wisconsin added a goal in the third period to finish the game with the 6-0 win.
