COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 20 Ohio State was once again dominant on both ends of the field, opening Big Ten play with a 3-0 shutout victory at Indiana on Thursday night.
The shutout was the Buckeyes’ (5-1-1, 1-0-0) fourth in the first seven matches of the season and was even more impressive as Indiana (5-1-1, 0-1-0) entered the game second in the country in scoring at 4.0 goals per game.
The Buckeye defense was solid and so was junior goalkeeper Molly Pritchard as she made three saves on the night.
Offensively, senior Kailyn Dudukovich notched a pair of goals, giving her eight on the season. Amanda Schlueter recorded a goal and an assist as she now has four of each this year.
Sophomore Ava Bramblett and junior Ella Giannola each picked up an assist on Schlueter’s goal.
Ohio State led 19-7 in overall shots, which included a 12-3 edge in shots on goal.
