Ohio State will host the ITA Midwest Regional Championships in October
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The ITA Midwest Regional Championships in Columbus highlight the fall schedule for the Ohio State women's tennis team.

The season again begins for the Buckeyes at the Debbie Southern Furman Fall Classic in Greenville, S.C., this year set for Sept. 13-15.

Select Buckeyes will head to the ITA All-American Championships in Cary, N.C., Sept. 21-29 before the team competes in the Notre Dame Invitational Oct. 4-6 in South Bend, Ind.

Oct. 10-14, Ohio State will host the ITA Midwest Regional Championships in the Ty Tucker Tennis Center, where singles and doubles champions will be crowned.

The UT Home Invitational hosted by Tennessee in Knoxville, Tenn., is slated for Oct. 25-27.

Nov. 7-10 features two ITA events – the Central Section Championships in Ann Arbor, Mich., and the Conference Masters Championships in San Diego, Calif.

The NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships have been moved to the fall and will be contested Nov. 19-24 in Waco, Texas. Players can earn berths into the national championships through the four ITA events in the fall. More information on the pathway to the NCAAs is available HERE.

Last year, Buckeye Luciana Perry competed in the NCAA singles and doubles championships as a freshman. Current senior Sydni Ratliff is a two-time NCAA singles qualifier (2022, '23) and competed in the doubles tournament in 2022.

The Buckeyes return eight players from the 2023-24 squad that was 20-8, finished second in the Big Ten with a 10-1 ledger and earned the No. 12 seed in the NCAA Tournament, ending the year ranked 15th.
