Ohio State Set for NCAA Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track & field team travels to Eugene, Ore. for the 2024 NCAA Championships. The meet will take place Wednesday through Saturday and streamed live on ESPN2 (Wednesday/Thursday/Friday) and ESPN (Saturday).

On Wednesday, Hayden Tobias will compete in the shot put at 9:40 p.m. ET. Thursday's action begins with the 4x100m relay semifinals at 8:32 p.m. ET. On Friday, Reign Winston will compete in the high jump at 8:30 p.m. ET. Faith Bender will take place in the discus competition on Saturday at 5:05 p.m. ET, along with any advancing track events from Thursday.

The Buckeyes have nine total entries in this week's NCAA Championship site.
All field events will be the final round, while track events run a semifinal to qualify for the final.
Big Ten Shot Put Champion Hayden Tobias finished eighth (19.14m / 62'9.5") at the NCAA East First Round to be the first to punch his ticket.
Reign Winston will be making his first NCAA Championships appearance as he competes in the high jump after clearing a personal-best 2.17m / 7'1.5" in the NCAA East First Round to finish sixth.
The Buckeye women's Big Ten Champion 4x100m relay squad makes its appearance after winning its quarterfinals heat with a season-best time of 43.09 (third in program history).
The final Big Ten Champion still in the mix is Leah Bertrand in the 100m. She was ninth (11.09) in the quarterfinals and is joined by Nya Bussey (11.26) who finished 12^th.
Aniya Mosley broke the program record in the 800m (2:01.52) in the quarterfinals to finish sixth and earn her spot.
Big Ten discus runner-up Faith Bender finished fifth (57.39m / 188'3") in the NCAA East First Round to punch her ticket.
Janela Spencer used her quarterfinals time (13.15) in the 100m hurdles to qualify.
The Buckeyes' final qualifier was the women's 4x400m relay squad, whose season-best time (3:29.83) took ninth in the quarterfinals.
