Bertrand and Mosley Earn All-American First Team at NCAA Championships

The Buckeyes totaled 12 All-Americans between the first and second teams to wrap up the 2024 season.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track & field team wrapped up the 2024 season at the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore. this week.

WEDNESDAY

Shot put: Hayden Tobias finished 12^th in the shot put with a best mark of 19.05m / 62'6" as he wrapped up the season by throwing for at least 19 meters in all six of his appearances in the event.

THURSDAY (SEMIFINALS ONLY)

800m: Aniya Mosley broke the program record she set at the NCAA East First Round by finishing with the sixth-fastest semifinals time (2:00.80) to advance to the finals.
100m: Leah Bertrand qualified for the finals by finishing seventh (11.17) in the semifinals. Nya Bussey's time (11.38) was good for 22^nd overall.
4x100m relay: Marcia Sey, Bussey, Fatouma Conde and Bertrand ran their second-fastest time of the season (43.38) to finish 10^th – just 0.04 seconds out of a qualifying spot.
4x400m relay: Conde, Chanler Robinson, Columba Effiong and Bryannia Murphy teamed up to run a 3:31.03 and finish 12^th.
100m hurdles: Janela Spencer finished 15^th overall by running a personal-best time (12.99).

FRIDAY

High jump: Reign Winston tied for 11^th in his first NCAA Championships appearance by clearing 2.12m / 6'11.5".

SATURDAY

100m: Bertrand finished seventh (11.05) and would've tied the Buckeyes' program record if not for the wind.
800m: Mosley finished seventh (2:01.23) overall, running her second-fastest time of the season.
Discus: Faith Bender's best throw (54.14m / 177'7") placed her 19^th in the competition.
