Buckeyes Earn Academic All-Big Ten Accolades

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- All seven eligible members of the Ohio State women's tennis team have been named to the Academic All-Big Ten team, the conference announced Wednesday. In all, Ohio State led the way with 262 honorees for spring and at-large sports and totaled 489 overall selections in 2023-24.

To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be on a varsity team (as verified by being on the official squad list as of May 1 for spring and at-large sports), have been enrolled full time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.

Irina Cantos Siemers, who earned her second Academic All-America accolade this spring, was recognized for carrying a 4.0 grade-point average.
