COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men's gymnastics team (9-7, 1-3 B1G) hosts the 2024 NCAA Championships inside the Covelli Center for the first time this weekend. The Buckeyes will compete in the evening session on Friday, beginning at 7 p.m. ET. The championship session is scheduled for Saturday at 6 p.m. ET. Both sessions will be available in a free broadcast on NCAA.com.
- The Buckeyes finished fourth as a team at the 2024 Big Ten Championships with a team score of 406.550.
- Individually, Parker Thackston, Kameron Nelson and Caden Spencer all earned a spot on the All-Big Ten Second Team.
- Thackston was the runner-up on pommel horse (14.525). Nelson tied for second on vault (14.700). Spencer tied for third on parallel bars (14.050).
- Hewitt was named a Nissen-Emery Award finalist by the College Gymnastics Association. The Nissen-Emery Award is given to the country's most outstanding senior gymnast.
- Tyler Rockwood was honored as a Big Ten Sportsmanship Award winner.
