COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track & field team hosts its annual Jesse Owens Classic this weekend at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.

Friday's action starts with the women's hammer throw at noon, while track events will begin at 4:30 p.m. with the women's 400m hurdles. On Saturday, the women's shot put and men's discus both begin at 10:30 a.m. and the women's 100m hurdles prelims begin at 1 p.m.

- The Buckeyes split squad last weekend to the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational and the Bryan Clay Invite.
- Daniella Santos and Andrea Kuhn broke into the top-five in program history in the women's 5000m with their times at the Bryan Clay Invitational. Santos' 15:56.71 puts her third on the Buckeyes' all-time leaders list, while Kuhn's 15:57.72 finds her fifth.
- The Buckeyes swept the shot put competitions. On the women's side, Lacey Stringer put herself third on the OSU all-time leaders list by winning today's competition with a mark of 17.21m / 56'5.75". Adam Riedinger won the men's shot put competition with a season-best throw of 17.53m / 57'6.25".
