COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track & field team wrapped up competition at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational on Saturday.

The Buckeyes swept the shot put competitions. On the women's side, Lacey Stringer put herself third on the OSU all-time leaders list by winning today's competition with a mark of 17.21m / 56'5.75". Adam Riedinger won the men's shot put competition with a season-best throw of 17.53m / 57'6.25".

TOM JONES RESULTS
- Pole vault: Sophie Fong and Morgan Fijalkowski both cleared 3.89m / 12'9" to finish as the runner-up and in fourth place, respectively. Fong cleared 3.89m on her first attempt. Â
- Discus: Tanner Watson claimed the runner-up spot in the men's discus to lead the Buckeye men with a best throw of 54.45m / 178'7".
- Discus invite: Faith Bender was third with a season-best 56.91m / 186'8".
- High jump invite: Amaya Ugarte finished third by clearing 1.84m / 6'0.5".
- Triple jump invite: Clarence Foote-Talley finished seventh (16.01m / 52'6.5") in his season debut.
- 100m: Leah Bertrand led the Buckeye women with a seventh-place finish and season-best time (11.24). Nick Biega won his heat on the men's side (10.67).
- Triple jump: Atinuke Shittu's season-best mark of 12.39m / 40'7.75" was good for seventh to lead the Buckeyes. Brian Kellon had a PR 14.40m / 47'3" on the men's side.
- 100m hurdles invite: Janela Spencer was ninth in the finals (13.58) after finishing seventh in the prelims with a wind-aided time of 13.00.
- Hammer throw invite: Lacey Stringer finished ninth with a best mark of 55.85m / 183'3".
- 4x100m relay: The Buckeye women's squad was comprised of Nya Bussey, Leah Bertrand, Fatouma Conde and Columba Effiong and ran a 44.02.
- 110m hurdles invite: Braxton Brann ran a PR of 13.85 in the prelims.
- 100m hurdles: Katie Ruffener finished with a time of 14.24.
- 800m: Gia Napoleon represented the Buckeye women and finished in 2:10.40, while Jaxson Eckert ran a PR of 1:51.76 on the men's side.
- 400m invite: Bryannia Murphy ran a 52.31 on the women's side, while Mason Louis led the Buckeye men (46.36).
- 4x400m relay: The Buckeye women's relay squad (Conde, Chanler Robinson, Effiong, Murphy) finished 12th with a season-best time of 3:35.01. The Buckeye men's relay squad (Louis, Fillmore, Antonio Hanson, Carmichael) finished 14th with a season-best time of 3:08.85.
