The Short Story
A 12-hit attack was keyed by Jasmyn Burns (3-for-4 with a double and an RBI), McKenzie Bump (2-for-3 with a double) and Hannah Church (2-for-3 with a double), as Ohio State's offense scored one in the first inning, two in the second and three in the third.
Starting pitcher Allison Smith went 3.2 innings and allowed just one hit. Fellow senior Emily Ruck finished the game, going the final 3.1 innings to register her fourth win of the season.
