Ohio State moves to 9-6 on the year
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 13 Ohio State women's tennis team was a 4-0 winner at Indiana Saturday in a Big Ten match in Bloomington, Ind.

The Buckeyes (9-6, 2-1 B1G) took a 1-0 lead with the doubles point vs. the Hoosiers (6-12, 0-4 B1G), followed by straight-set singles wins from Irina Cantos Siemers, Akanksha Bhan and Sydni Ratliff. Cantos Siemers and Ratliff paired up for a doubles victory, with Alessia Cau and Madeline Atway also winning.

Ohio State will play at Purdue at noon Sunday. The squad will return to Columbus to host Maryland at 5 p.m. March 29 and Rutgers at 11 a.m. March 31. Admission and parking are free for all regular season matches in the Ty Tucker Tennis Center and Auer Tennis Complex.

How it Happened
- A 6-3 win from Irina Cantos Siemers and Sydni Ratliff over Nicole Teodosescu and Lene Mari Hovda on court one started doubles. Alessia Cau and Madeline Atway clinched the point, as they topped Chase Boyer and Elisabeth Dunac on court three, 6-4. The victory was the first for Cau in dual matches.
- Cantos Siemers dropped just one game in each set vs. Teodosescu to put the Buckeyes up 2-0.
- Akanksha Bhan moved the Buckeyes to a 3-0 advantage, as she topped Magda Swierczynska on court six, 6-2, 6-4.
- Ratliff clinched the victory. She was a 6-2, 6-4 winner over Dunac on court two.
- When play was abandoned, Shelly Bereznyak was ahead a set and a break in her match on court three, while Teah Chavez was leading in the third set on court four and Audrey Spencer was up a set on court five.
