Buckeyes Earn All-America Honors on Second Day of NCAA Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 9 Ohio State women's swimming and diving team wrapped up the second day of the NCAA Championships on Thursday, with Teresa Ivan, Amy Fulmer and the 200 free relay team earning Honorable Mention All-America honors.
Ivan and Fulmer both competed in the B final of the 50 free. Ivan finished fifth in the B final with a time of 21.87 and Fulmer finished right behind Ivan, placing sixth with a time of 21.88.
The relay team of Ivan, Katherine Zenick, Nyah Funderburke and Fulmer earned a ninth-place finish in the 200 free relay, finishing the event in 1:26.85.
The Buckeyes are in 11th place with 61 points through two days of competition.
The NCAA Championships continue March 22-23 at Gabrielsen Natatorium in Athens, Ga. Friday's events are the 400 IM, 100 fly, 200 free, 100 breast, 100 back, 3-meter dive and 400 medley relay.
