- The Ohio State women's lacrosse team hits the road for a Big Ten Conference game at No. 10 Johns Hopkins Saturday. The teams will meet at 1 p.m. at Homewood Field in Baltimore, Md.Â

- Ohio State enters the game 6-3 (0-2 B1G) after a 12-6 loss to No. 3 Maryland last weekend. The Blue Jays fell at No. 1 Northwestern 14-9 last week and are 7-3 on the year (0-1 B1G).
- The last meeting between the teams was in Columbus March 18, 2023, an 11-8 Johns Hopkins win.
- The last game at Homewood was a 17-14 JHU victory April 23, 2022.
- The Blue Jays are 7-3 on the year, with wins over Albany, Siena, Duke, Georgetown, USC, Vanderbilt and Stony Brook and losses to Loyola, Penn and Northwestern. Â
- Johns Hopkins is scoring 13.9 goals a game, allowing 10.3 goals per outing.Â

- In their last time out, the Buckeyes dropped a tough battle to No. 3 Maryland last Saturday in Columbus. It was a one-goal contest entering the fourth quarter, with the Terrapins pulling away at the end.Â
- Ohio State opened Big Ten play with an 11-5 loss at then-No. 6 Michigan March 7, falling 11-5.
- The Buckeyes will host Penn State March 28, play at No. 1 Northwestern April 13 and host Rutgers April 18 to wrap up B1G play.Â
- Ohio State is 16th nationally in clearing percentage (.918), with 157 clears in 171 chances.Â
- The Buckeyes rank in the Top 35 nationally in scoring offense (31st/14.0 goals per game), scoring defense (26th/9.56 goals allowed per game) and scoring margin (24th, +4.44). The squad is 28th in both shooting percentage (.467) and turnovers per game (13.33).Â
- Senior goalie Regan Alexander, who had double-digit saves in each of the last five  games, is seventh in the NCAA in save percentage (.525). She is fifth in school history with 386 career saves. Alexander had a career-best 16 saves at Denver Feb. 23, made 14 saves against Marquette and had 12 stops against Butler, Michigan and Maryland.Â
- Erin O'Neill, who has started all nine games on defense, had three ground balls and three caused turnovers vs. Maryland last week. Both numbers were career highs.
- Jamie Lasda leads the Buckeyes with 28 goals and 34 points, ranking in the Top 10 in the B1G in goals (3.11) and points (3.78) per game. She enters the game at Johns Hopkins on a 15-game scoring streak, with 39 goals, 18 assists and 57 points in the stretch. It is her career-long point streak, passing the two 13-game stretches she had earlier in her career.
- This season Lasda has multiple points in all but one game, including seven multi-goal outings. In her 51-game Buckeye career, Lasda has 92 goals, 49 assists and 141 points.
- Brynn Ammerman is first for the Buckeyes with 17 assists and ranks second with 31 points, tying for third with 14 goals. She has at least one point in each of the first nine games and had a career-high four goals vs. Marquette March 12. Ammerman is fourth in the B1G with 1.89 assists per game and eighth with 3.44 points a contest. She entered the season with a 5-4-9 line in 14 games played over her first two years.
- Leah Sax is second on the squad in goals (17), with two or more in seven of nine games, and has been held scoreless just once. She also has six assists, with two in three of the last five games. The senior started the year with one goal and three games played in her first three seasons.Â
- Lilli Sherman, who has started all nine games on defense, leads the Buckeyes with 11 caused turnovers, with multiple in three games. She is second on the team with 18 ground balls (behind Alexander with 19), picking up a career-best five at Akron. Sherman entered the season with five games played and two ground balls in her first two years.Â
- Emily Magalotti, a starter at midfield this season after playing defense in 2023, notched her first collegiate goal at Denver and then scored twice vs. Butler the following game. She extended her goal streak to four with goals against Michigan and Marquette and has five on the year.
- Annie Hargraves has at least one goal in seven of nine games this year, held scoreless only at Denver and vs. Maryland. She has eight goals in her last four games combined, with a personal-best four vs. Marquette. Her 14 goals this season are tied for third on the squad.Â
- Hargraves is first on the team with 22 draw controls, followed by Kampbell Stone with 21.
- Stone has at least one goal in seven of her first nine collegiate games. She picked up her first assist vs. Marquette and has nine goals and 10 points on the year.Â
- Rookie Audrey Schoemer started the first nine games on defense and has seven ground balls and four caused turnovers.Â
- Zoe Coleman has at least one point in eight of nine games this year and has 11 goals, 10 assists and 21 points this season. She has seven goals, six assists and 13 points in the last four games combined, with multiple points in each outing.
- Freshman Kate Tyack made her first collegiate start last time out and scored a goal. She has seven goals and eight points while playing in all eight games this season.Â
- The Buckeyes will return home for a game vs. Penn State at 7 p.m. Thursday (March 28) in Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium. Admission and parking are free, and BTN will televise the matchup.
- Three road games follow, at Cincinnati Apirl 5, at Louisville April 9 and April 13 at Northwestern.Â
