Buckeyes Earn CCFC Championship Individual Medals

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Individual titles by Edriss Ndiaye and Dasha Myroniuk led the way for the Ohio State fencing program in the Central Collegiate Fencing Conference individual championships Sunday in French Field House. In all, the Buckeye men and women combined for 21 Top 8 finishes, with 12 reaching at least the semifinals.

Dasha Myroniuk defended her 2023 women's foil title, winning 15-7 in the final. The No. 1 seed, she notched 15-6 and 15-7 wins en route to the final bout. Buckeye freshman Raiyan Moradi also earned a spot in the tableau, falling to her teammate Myroniuk in the round of eight and placing eighth.

Ilya Ayupov and Diego Cervantes were the other semifinalists to finish tied for third. Solin Li placed fifth and Justin Vogler was sixth, while Samuel Freedman was eighth.
