
Buckeyes Earn Eight Top-Three Finishes on Day One of Winter Invite

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State men's and women's swimmers turned in a combined eight top-three finishes on the first day of the Ohio State Winter Invitational on Friday.
Josh Bedford earned a win in the 500 free, turning in a time of 4:23.28. It is Bedford's career-best time in the event.
Mackenzie DeWitt won the 50 free, touching the wall at 22.94, which is a career-best time. Erin Fentress finished sixth with a time of 23.94.
The relay team of Eli Stoll, Eric Albers, Henry Dvorak and Bedford placed first in the 400 medley relay, finishing in a time of 3:15.49.
Bella Fisco finished third in the 200 IM, swimming the event in 2:03.27.
Stoll (1:48.39) and Nathan Holty (1:48.61) finished second and third in the 200 IM, respectively. Stoll's time is his career-best.
Dvorak placed third in the 50 free, recording a career-best time of 20.11. Evan Blazer placed 10th with a time of 21.29.
