
Buckeyes Kick Off Year with Exhibition Game vs. Niagara Sunday

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The 2024-25 edition of the Ohio State men's hockey team starts its season with an exhibition game vs. Niagara at 2 p.m. Sunday in Value City Arena in Columbus. Admission and parking are free and all seating will be general admission. The game will be streamed through B1G+ (subscription required) and live stats will be available through OhioStateBuckeyes.com.

Season tickets, which start as low as $167, are on sale now, as are single game, miniplan and group tickets. Ticket information and purchasing options are online HERE. Fans can also contact the Ohio State Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-GOBUCKS (select Option 2, then Option 2) or Athletic.tix@osu.edu. Customer service representatives are available via phone Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Parking is free for all men's hockey home games.

- The Buckeyes and Niagara have met eight times in the regular season, with the Buckeyes 7-1 all-time in the series. The teams last met Dec. 29-30, 2017 in Columbus, with the Buckeyes posting a sweep (3-2, 4-1).
- Former Ohio State assistant coach Jason Lammers is in his eighth season as head coach at Niagara.Â
- Ohio State will host 17 games in Columbus during the regular season, including 12 B1G matchups.Â
