COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 21 Ohio State capped the regular season on a high note as the Buckeyes scored four goals in a 4-1 victory over No. 15 Penn State.
The four goals were the most Ohio State has scored against Penn State in 37 meetings. The win lifts the Buckeyes 11-4-3 overall and 6-3-2 in the Big Ten.
Senior forward Kailyn Dudukovich scored her 41st career goal late in the second half. She is now the program’s all-time leading scorer as she broke a tie with Tiffany Cameron who had 40 goals from 2009-12.
Freshmen Jacinda Bonham and Anika Poremba both found the back of the net. For Poremba, the goal was the first of her career.
Senior captain Sydney Jones scored in the 60th minute of the match, marking her first goal of the season and the fourth of her career.
Amanda Schlueter assisted on both Jones and Dudukovich’s goals. Schlueter now has 10 assists this season, which is tied for second-most in program history.
Junior keeper Molly Pritchard played well as she had six stops on the afternoon.

How it Happened
In the 18th minute of the match, Jacinda Bonham found the back of the net. Sydney Jones sent a cross into the box, which was punched away by the Penn State goalkeeper, right to the feet of Bonham. She hit the ball one-time to beat the defense to the lower left corner.
Jones then found the back of the net herself in the 60th minute. Schlueter hit a shot from the top of the box that was pushed wide by the Penn State goalkeeper. Jones was waiting at the back post where she found the far corner.
With 17 minutes to play, Poremba scored the first career goal of her career. Ella Giannola served a corner kick into the box where Poremba volleyed the ball past the goalkeeper.
Penn State got on the board just 15 seconds later to tamper the celebration just a bit.
But Dudukovich would make history in the 85th minute. With a pass from Schlueter, Dudukovich slipped the ball under the goalkeeper to find the net and her 41st career goal.
