Baseball's 2025 Big Ten Slate Announced

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State baseball team's Big Ten schedule for the 2025 season has been announced, and includes matchups against new conference members Oregon and USC and rival Michigan.
The Buckeyes will open conference play at Indiana March 14-16 and then play a three-game series at Iowa March 21-23. The Buckeyes last played a regular season series against Indiana during the 2023 season and faced the Hoosiers in their second game of the Big Ten Tournament this past spring. Ohio State won last season's series against Iowa, taking two out of three games.
Ohio State opens its home slate of Big Ten games March 28-30 when the Buckeyes welcome Oregon to Bill Davis Stadium. This will be Ohio State's first meeting with the Ducks since the 2014 season and first time hosting them in Columbus since 2013.
The Buckeyes head to California to take on USC April 4-6. Ohio State defeated the Trojans, 5-2, during the 2024 MLB Desert Invitational.
Ohio State returns to Columbus to host Minnesota April 11-13. The Buckeyes last took on the Gophers during the 2023 season, hosting them at Bill Davis Stadium.
April 18-20, the Buckeyes play a series at Michigan State before returning home for back-to-back weekends.
Ohio State hosts Rutgers April 25-27 and rival Michigan May 2-4. Ohio State took two out of three games from the Scarlet Knights in 2024, helping secure its trip to the Big Ten Tournament. The Buckeyes have won four of their last six games against Michigan, including a sweep of the Wolverines in 2023.
The Buckeyes wrap up their road conference schedule with a series at Northwestern May 9-11. Ohio State took two out of three games from the Wildcats last season.
Ohio State closes out conference play at home against Illinois May 15-17. The Buckeyes picked up a 7-5 upset win over the Illini in the opening game of the teams' series in 2024.
The Big Ten Tournament will be held at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Neb.
