Buckeyes Close Regular Season with Wisconsin Pre-Nationals

Mosley leads women, Day and Kevin Agnew pace men
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Ohio State men's and women's cross country teams ran in the Wisconsin Pre-Nationals Saturday in Madison, Wis. The Buckeye men were third in the "B" race, with the women in fifth in the "B" race. Aniya Mosley led the women with a fifth-place finish and Weston Day and Kevin Agnew were in the Top 13 for the men.
The Buckeye Men
Weston Day was ninth and Kevin Agnew placed 13th to lead the men to a third-place finish in the 25-team field in the 8K "B" race. Zubin Jha (43rd) and Jack Agnew (47th) were both in the Top 50, with Liam Shaughnessy 65th to round out Ohio State's counters.
Sean Carney, Kaleb Martin and Connor Long also ran in the "B" race, while Keegan Freyhof, Colby Adams and Keegan Souhan competed in the "Open" event.
The Buckeye Women
Aniya Mosley crossed the line first for the Buckeyes for the second consecutive race, placing fifth overall. Akemi Von Scherr was 21st, with Daniella Santos (44th), Audrey DeSantis (54th) and Andrea Kuhn (75th) closing out Ohio State's counters. The Buckeyes were fifth as a team in the field of 29 in the "B" race, which was a 6K.
Sydney Paul, Carina Napoleon and Teodora Iovi rounded out the Buckeyes in the "B" race and Ana Karmol, Zoee Lehman and Hailey Kahl were in the 'Open' race.
Postseason Up Next
The postseason begins at the Big Ten Championships Nov. 1 in Champaign, Ill., with the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships Nov. 15 in Norton, Ohio, and the NCAA Championships in Madison, Wis., Nov. 23.
