Sharp, DeSantis Selected B1G Runners to Watch

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State cross country runners Audrey DeSantis of the women's team and Noah Sharp from the men's squad have been named to the Big Ten Conference's 2026 Runners to Watch Lists. The honorees were determined by the conference's head coaches.
DeSantis, from Springfield, Ohio, is in her fifth year as a Buckeye. She did not compete in 2025 because of injury, but has raced in three Big Ten Championships (2022, '23, '24), two NCAA Regional Championsnips (2022, '23) and the 2022 NCAA Championships.
Sharp, a senior from Lancaster, Ohio, raced in all six events last season in his first year with the Buckeyes. He was a counter in five events, including the conference and regional meets.
The men's and women's squads open the season Sept. 4 at the Mike Baumer Cross Country Classic hosted by Wright State in Dayton, Ohio.
