
Baseball Wraps Up Road Schedule at Iowa

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State baseball team (22-23, 5-13 Big Ten) closes out its regular season road schedule with a three-game series at Iowa (32-11, 8-6 Big Ten) May 5-7. Saturday’s game, slated for a 2:00 p.m. Eastern start, will air on Big Ten Network.
Last Time Out
- The Buckeyes fell to Wright State, 3-1, on Tuesday at Nischwitz Stadium.
- Matthew Graveline led Ohio State with two hits. Trey Lipsey, Mitchell Okuley and Henry Kaczmar each had one hit.
- Okuley had the lone RBI of the game for the Buckeyes.
- Jaylen Jones earned the start on the mound. He struck out two and gave up one run on one hit in a 2.1-inning no-decision.
- Jacob Gehring (0-3) took the loss. He fanned two and allowed two runs on one hit in 2.1 innings pitched.

- Jonah Jenkins (4-4) has made 16 appearances, including three starts, on the mound this season. He has fanned 36 through 43.0 innings pitched and has an ERA of 3.98.
- Gavin Bruni (3-2) has struck out 51 batters in 42.0 innings tossed. He has an ERA of 5.14.
- Landon Beidelschies (0-2) has recorded five saves on the season. He has an ERA of 4.78 and has struck out 39 in 26.1 innings pitched.
